Test Your 80s Knowledge
Think you know the 80s? Try this quiz to find out. I got a 69 (I missed a lot of the television questions; I got all but two of the music ones). Note that just because an answer is misspelled, that doesn’t mean it’s wrong. The people who put this together obviously weren’t paying attention in Language Arts class during the 80s.

Dan • 07/20/03 • 2:15 PM:dang. i got a 68. it told me i was not so good. whatever. i got killed in the last 15 questions. and the cheers questions. oh well. i missed 4 music ones.
Dan • 07/28/03 • 12:10 PM:hey, why hasn’t anyone else done this? pat, are you embarrassed or proud that your brother, 9 years younger than you, only scored 1 point lower than you?
Patrick • 07/28/03 • 7:15 PM:I guess I’m proud. Though the questions were weirdly skewed. Some of them referred to things I had never heard of. I did pretty well on the music part.
Dad • 07/29/03 • 12:48 PM:OK, I got a 49, mostly by blind guessing. What did you expect? This quiz is for people who were pre-teens during the 80s. I don’t think I really knew any answers, but a few I “figured out” by using my special “gut feel” powers. Although I spent the whole test striving to reach 50%, I really don’t care that I did badly. In fact, I’m proud of the fact that I had better things to do during the eighties than pay attention to pop culture.
David • 08/03/03 • 12:00 AM:That was a cool test. Some pretty random questions. Too many Cheers questions. And Pat, how did you only miss TWO music questions. Some of those were ridiculous. You should be embarrassed for knowing some of them. Blah. I got a 62. Bummer. I must admit, that poor guessing and lucky guessing seemed to balance out pretty well.
