(Online) Museum of Bad Art
This Online Museum features “art too bad to be ignored.” I agree. Some dandies include Peter the Kitty (not too bad, I love it), Mama and Babe, and Dog (or mountain?). To fill more space around this picture I will include The Haircut, and, of course, Inspiration :
The organ master stares, transfixed by twin mysterious visions; the Neanderthal saint in the setting sun and the Gothic monk proceeding out from the cathedral’s sanctum — each framed by a halo of organ pipes, reminiscent of #2 pencils.Dan • Recommendations • 03/09/04 • 3 comments

Dad • 03/09/04 • 11:09 PM:I like Moma and Babe with its “astonishing emphasis on facial bone structure.” Unfortunately, the artist didn’t seem to want to attempt drawing hands.
Dan • 03/10/04 • 10:33 AM:The best part about viewing Mama and Babe is that there is a “compelling detail” shot of where the hands should be.
I just came across Think Again and it instantly became my favorite piece. It’s like, you know what the painter was trying to do, but it just turned out all wrong and, subsequently, hilarious and scary. Also, the person looks like Michael Jackson.
David • 07/18/07 • 10:15 AM:Hey Dan, you need to redo all these links. They no longer go to the right place, but the museum and the pieces are still online.
