Pato (and Adi) Reading

Pato is learning to read in school by both sounding out letters and recognizing whole words. I think it’s a good program, since, really, we recognize words and even phrases eventually; we don’t have to sound everything out phoenetically. Here he is reading parts of From Head to Toe by Eric Carle (for about a minute and a half). Adi is helping on the chorus.

By the way, I’m adding some other new movies to the site, but I’ve decided to date them from when the video was taken. So check the Movies category for more. Also, don’t post movie reviews to the Movies category. Movies is for home video just like Pictures is for family pictures and such. If you are so inclined, start using these categories more.

This ought to auto-load and auto-play (though it may take a while; the file is 1.6 Mb). If it doesn’t, you may need to download the QuickTime plugin. Or you may want to try downloading the movie file itself to see what your computer does with it when you double click on it.
