Pat Tillman
Today is the one-year anniversary of Pat Tillman’s death. Tonight ESPN Classic (and regular ESPN) will debut his Sports Century special. Like millions of Americans, I’ve been deeply moved by his story. It’s rare when something/someone is bigger than the hype. Here is a good article written about the man.

Dad • 04/28/05 • 10:59 PM:I too was deeply moved by what Tillman did. Unfortunately, I don’t believe the Iraq war is worthy of the heroism our troops not doubt display in it. Probably, Pat Tillman was trying to give himself to the war on terror; to in some way avenge 9/11. Too bad our leaders don’t have the kind of courage Pat Tillman and those like him have.
