A new contest

Have you ever spent some time putting a really good entry together and then gotten no comments? Maybe everyone read it and loved it and it was so perfect that they didn’t need to comment. On the other hand maybe nobody read it, or nobody liked it; it’s hard to tell with no feedback. So I’m proposing we have a “Best uncommented entry” contest. Use the comments on this entry to identify your favorite entries that have no comments.

And don’t you dare not comment on this entry!

OK, I already had one of my entries in mind when I proposed this contest. Does that make me a bad person? I thought this entry, When is Eid al-Adha? should have had some comments. What do you think?

Patrick • 07/31/05 10:38 AM:

Nobody ever commented on this Insane Tree House I linked to.

Here’s another of Patrick’s entries that I think deserved some comment.

Maybe because this was sent via email first (though maybe not to everyone), nobody ever commented on Dad’s review of/thoughts from Tom and Huck don’t live here anymore. Cryin’ shame.

This comment is to point out the “uncommented entry” contest. I don’t have any new entries to point out, but they’re out there. It’s fun to follow theads through the site, remembering how it felt the first time through.
