Moulin Rouge
While in Chicago last Friday morning, Ed and I visited the Art Institute and were able to see the Toulouse-Lautrec exhibit there. We were rushed, as we still needed to pick up Jim Mahood (another Glee Clubber) and proceed to Notre Dame, but got to see the whole exhibit as well as other parts of the gallery. I thought of Dan when we got to the posters of the Moulin Rouge.
Dan is probably already well aware of these posters, and may be emulating them in his own work. They remind me, a little, of the work Dan did at Hatch Show Print.
