Mythical places

The sign is gone now, except in our memory. It told us of a mythical place somewhere up the road, but nowhere we knew of. An Indian name, that we now term “Native American” to correct Columbus’s mistake 500 years later. A name much more gutteral than “Loantaka” or “Lenapi.” I went there a few weeks ago just to experience it, and found another sign.
