Just what I need
A vendor making a presentation in my Philadelphia office wanted to emphasize how his company would work in partnership with us to solve our problems. So he made this interesting comment:
“If you’re out on a limb, we want to be out there with you.”

Patrick • 01/06/08 • 11:28 AM:Because the comic thing is never going to happen, I’ll just say that I think the post is perfect. The title is the punch line, in a way, but it’s not given away. It doesn’t make sense until you’ve read the last line. Also, It’s very efficient (more efficient, for instance, than how you told the story in person). Bravo! If they had blog-post awards, I’d nominate this one!
Dad • 02/09/08 • 1:51 PM:I was participating in a web seminar the other day. The professor making the presentation misspoke at one point, referring to “mathematical muddling.” How true.
