NBC takes over ND athletics

The Notre Dame Glee Club made the news this week, if you want to call it that. As the Huffington post indicates, NBC canceled the vocal part of the National Anthem at the Navy game, which was supposed to be sung by the Glee Club and alumni before the game. I didn’t see the “special” pre-game show that necessitated our sitting this one out, but I can only assume that having the Glee Club sing would have ruined everything.

What does NBC say about the future of Charlie Weis? Do you think he’d mind being demoted to offensive coordinator? Maybe he could just keep his salary, so nobody’d have to pay a buyout.

Yeah, then the new coach could have an 18M$ assistant that he couldn’t fire to remind him of how little money he makes. Of course, if he worked for NBC…
